Friday night, alone again.....so what am I doing tonight, I hear you ask?  Am I going to make up for last Friday night spent cleaning the oven and go out on the town?  Get drunk, dance my ass off, have a 3am breakfast and hit up some yard sales on my way home tomorrow morning?   No, I'm staying home and I'm doing the ironing. This seals it!  I am soooo pathetic!!!  Hahah!!  I'm almost 35 and I can think of nothing more fun to do on a Friday night than stay ...

This is article number 200.  Again, I can't think of anything to write for this auspicious occasion. I do have new pictures of some of the kittens, tho.  I'm in them too...bare-faced, so be prepared.  Hopefully no-one will be too traumatized! Link

Miss Perfect next door, who never does anything wrong and whose poo doesn't have an odor - whose husband golfs in between our houses and whose dog shits in my yard...her child is running around outside with nothing but a pair of shorts on. Barefoot, bare chested.  What's the problem with that, I hear you say...? It's below 60 degrees, and it's thundering, lightning, and raining cats and dogs. Morons, I tell ya!  And they're raising more morons!!!!!

I talked to my dad this morning.  He's having a bad day today, so listening to him struggle with words was hard for me to hear.  He got his point across, though. He wants to pay for Lonesome, the kids and I to go on vacation to England to see them.  He was going to bring my mom on vacation here to the US, but he can't get medical insurance.  He's too ill.  He's been too ill for years.  He's 76, been retired for 11 years, and lives off of a state pension.  My...

Well, I was right about my cat being in labor. At 3 am I awoke to the sound of 4 tiny kittens mewing.....I watched for a while to make sure everything was ok with mom and the babies, then went back to bed.  I got up 15 mins later to find another one crawling around, and then was priveleged enough to see number 6 be born. So far we have one totally black one and the rest area dark gray color...2 have white chins.  It makes me question paternity; the tom that I thought was the...

Our cat Pixie is due to have kittens on Monday, but I think she's laboring already.  She hasn't eaten today, she's slept more than usual, when she is awake she's wandering around meowing and won't leave our sides. I laid down on my bed for a nap this afternoon and she came and laid right next to me...highly unusual.  The kittens have been really active as well; she laid on the living room floor this afternoon and we could see them writhing around in her belly.  I've helpe...

Don't ask me how, but I stumbled across a site devoted to epitaphs earlier.  The things people have put on their tombstones....   When I am dead and in my grave, and all my bones are rotten. While reading this you'll think of me when I am long forgotten!   Here lies the body of Jonathan Blake Stepped on the gas pedal Instead of the brake   She always said her feet were killing her but nobody believed her   Here lies the body...

Ho hum.  That's how I feel today. It's cool, overcast and raining, which doesn't help much.  I think that the anger, frustration and nervous tension have finally taken their toll. For 3 weeks all I've done is worry.  Worry about where we're going, whether Dave will get extended or not, whether the paperwork is getting to where it needs to be, if we're going to have enough time to get what we need done, if I should re-enroll our kids in the local school system.......

It would seem that Ms Lopez-Anthony is preggers, according to this report.... Link That'd explain why she got hitched in such a hurry.....but I have to say I find it laughably hypocritical that she claims to be a 'staunch Catholic'. Let's see...Regan died, people got blown up in Iraq, it was D-Day...but Jenny-with-the-big-bum gets married and in the family way and everything else pales into insignificance...heck, I'm even blogging about it! Sad...very sad.

Ok, this is what happened today:  The documentation that was supposedly requested from Peterson on Thursday was still sitting, unsent,  on the desk 1/2 a mile away from here this morning.  I had Lonesome call Texas and ask them if I could please just go fax it to them and get all the ducks in a row so the evaluation and decision process can start.  Peterson hadn't made any contact with Ellsworth whatsoever, why I don't know....but anyway, Lonesome got the relev...

I've heard some of these before, but they're still funny.....   Q. What is the difference between a drug dealer and a hooker?     A. A hooker can wash her crack and sell it again.    Q. What's a mixed feeling?     A. When you see your mother-in-law backing off a cliff in your new car.  Q. What's the height of conceit?  A. Having an orgasm and calling out your own name.  Q. What's the definition of ma...

I got my birthday gift from Lonesome today.  My birthday's not until next week, but the mail system from up there is irregular at best. Her had been promising for ages to send me a shirt that he wore...so I can smell him.  It sounds funky, but I find it incredibly comforting. So, I got a package today, and inside it was a sandwich bag containing a shirt and a birthday card with a dollar in it (he has this thing about sending cards with no money in them). I sat there for a bit,...
