I've been knitting again.  I used to knit a lot, but kind of neglected it in the past few months.  Recovering from surgery has given me a chance to pick up my needles again, and I've been knitting up a storm.  This past week I've completed one shawl (which turned out beautifully) and have started 2 others (both for people I know, neither of whom know what I'm knitting for them - I want this to be a surprise) and I'm getting yarn today to make the kids winter hats and matching scar...

It's healing really well; I'm hoping that the dimples you see from the subcutaneous sutures will flatten out over the next few weeks. It's still pretty numb on the surface and sore underneath....but getting better every day!

My 12 year old daughter's Auntie paid her a visit for the first time this morning.  Her arrival caused a few tears and prompted a few phone calls to other members of the family who Auntie visits (or visited) on a regular basis. I have a problem with Norton, and I don't know how to fix it....I'm hoping that all the 'puter geeks here can give me some hints!
