It's healing really well; I'm hoping that the dimples you see from the subcutaneous sutures will flatten out over the next few weeks. It's still pretty numb on the surface and sore underneath....but getting better every day!

Wow....that looks GREAT, Karen. I bet you won't have much of a scar at all...give it a year...you probably won't be able to hardly even tell. How are you feeling otherwise?

Karen, that is healing *really* well!  (I know it's hard to look at an incision and say that)  My abdominal surgery incision looked much worse than that even after about 3 weeks.  I'm sure you'll end up with a very little scar.

That's what I'm thinking.

Iff you want to consider it such, then I guess....

Glad to see it's healing properly, but how's the back pain?

The leg pain that I had before the surgery is all gone.  I have a niggling back ache, but that's to be expected.  I only have sharp pain when I move in a way I'm not supposed to - then I can feel the cage griding against bone and that kinda hurts.  I'm thinking that I can be done with narcotics next week...yay!

Oh no, I agree.  It's looking really good.  Once the dimpling and puffiness goes away I'm just going to have a thin line.

Glad to hear all the updates and to know you are doing well. love ya!

Thanks, and love y'all too!

It looks great, dharma. I'm not real familiar with surgery scars, but it looks very healthy to me. You're a tough chick, hehe.

And again I'll insist that you have a very enviable belly, even with the scar.
