It's the 16th in England as I wrtie this, which means that I am now officially 35....which, if you hold with the Biblical life span of 'three score years and ten' makes me middle aged. I don't feel much different, to tell you the truth (not that I expected to feel any different). I don't feel old, middle aged, or even like I'm in my 30's.  In fact, I think I look better now than I did when I was a teenager..I think a lot of that is due to confidence.  I wasn't really sure of wh...

...and anyone else who cares about MJ. I just got an email from him, and he's suffering from some quite horrible withdrawl symptoms from his inability to blog. He's asked me to acquire y'all's email addresses so that if you won't email him he can at least email you.... If you're not comfortable leaving them here on this thread, you can send them to me at dharmagirl69@yahoo.com of better still email MJ yourselves at michael.jenks@auab.aorcentaf.af.mil . Now is the perfect opportuni...

I got an email from MJ this morning.  He's realized that he's not going to be able to access Joe U from where he's at, and has a request: Would those of you who are on his favorites list please send him your articles in the form of an email when you post them here?  All you'd have to do is copy and paste it...the address to send it to is: michael.jenks@auab.aorcentaf.af.mil This request obviously isn't limited to those on his list, I think he'd like to hear from pretty much ...

I have just discovered this guy Johnny Masuda's blog, and it contains some fucking awesome poetry.  Sorry for cussing, but I think it's really really good stuff and I'm kind of kicking myself for not seeing it before. You should go check it out: http://johnnymasuda.joeuser.com Sorry for shamelessly name dropping, but it's pretty amazing stuff.

I was thinking earlier that I reagrd some of you here at JoeU as almost family.  It made me wonder who would fill what familial role...here's what I came up with:   JillUser, Karmagirl,NickyG and Shadesofgrey:  Sisters.  I don't have any sisters, but the way you guys and I interact and talk...well, that's what I have always imagined sisterhood to be like.    Imajinit, Dan, Muggaz and Greywar - my brothers.  More specifically, MJ and Dan would ...

I've been reading some blogs today, and I am struck by the poor spelling in some of them. I'm not a perfect speller myself, but I'm amazed at the lack of knowledge of how to spell the most basic words...or how to use words properly. Some of the stuff I read today looked like it had been written by my 3rd grader! I know that sometimes people get ahead of themselves when they're typing and letters get put in the wrong order (i'm guilty of that, just as I'm guilty of mis-spelling sometimes) ...

It's true!  All the assumptions that have been made about me by certain fictional characters are true. I am a housewife. I stay home and take care of my home and my family. I am the queen of the kitchen, the mistress of the mop, the CEO of the toilet bowl. I am a nurse, a doctor, a pharmacist, a chef, a maid, a teacher, a landscaper, a chaueffer, a veterinarian, an interior decorator, an accountant, a seamstress, a nutritionist, a mechanic, a maintenance person.... I...

I ran a series of these this past spring.  I feel like reviving it.... I'm going to try and grow my hair out to about shoulder length.  After the bad haircut experience a couple of months ago I'm wary of letting anyone get the scissors near my barnet. I used to play the trumpet when i was in HS. I have had 8 sugeries so far.  I'm running out of spare parts....the only thing I have left that I can comfortably live without is my spleen.  The rest of it has gone bad...

I've deleted my blacklisted.  Everyone that was on there has been removed, and my blog is open to all.  Why?  Because I want to see what happens.  I'm curious......

" leader in the moronic movement fled England many years ago as a refugee English housewife, to escape intelligence and manners, to be with like minded idiots in America. Good riddance is what I say, the less moaning morons Britain has the better. She is a traitor to England and St George, and shames her English forbears ." Why was this necessary?  Why was Anthony R's piece about LW necessary?  I have deliberately stayed away from his blog, his articles, and his web site. I...

This will be the only time I will ever do this. I'm asking you for tangible help. As you may already know, we have among us a blogger who's facing the prospect of becoming homeless.  Gideon MacLeish has a wife and 5 children (the youngest being only a couple of months old).  Gideon lost his job a little over a month ago, hasn't qualified for unemployment, probably hasn't qualified for TANF, can't make his rent this month, has no vehicle, has sold or pawned just about everything h...

People who can't stay in one lane when they're driving.  They meander from lane to lane, riding the center line...and making me very nervous. People who have never been to the US, and who's only knowledge comes from what they see on TV or read in the paper...but who think it's ok to slam pretty much everything this country does and says, all the while declaring their country to be morally, intellectually, socially and democratically superior.  It's ok to hate the US.  Everyone ...

Well, I'm glad to see that you haven't all killed each other...       What’s up, JU-ers?   Long time no talk, huh?   Well, we’re all moved in here at Scott AFB in the Great State of Illinois.   We landed on our feet and moved into a 4 bedroom, 2-bath house less than a week after we got here.   Our new home is really not bad…older, yes, but that works with my rustic decorating style.   It’s also one level, so there ar...

Sorry for the all caps title, but I did it for a reason. I want to hurt Diamond-D.  I want to shake him until his teeth rattle and make him understand that pretty much nobody here is interested in any way in Biznet productions or Fred Whats-his-name or any of the other stuff he puts out.  No wait....he did throw out some Patton quotes earlier that I'd have liked to read...but he didn't space or paragraph any of them and after the third one my eyes hurt - so I quit. Diamond-D,...
