Hmm...where to begin; there's so much to tell....

I'm listening to Harry Connick Jr, and I'm liking it.

I used to be vegan, but couldn't resist the lure of a nice sirloin...which I eat rare, just so you know.

I know how to lift latent fingerprints and have my own lifting kit.

I like brussel sprouts.

I don't like lima beans.

I once tackled and cuffed a woman who was attacking a fellow officer (she was 4" taller, a good 20 lbs heavier than me and she bit me on the inner thigh in the struggle). She went to jail for assault.

I'm not really a natural redhead....

I'm actually a bit insecure about how I look and who I am.

I don't think I'm smart...and I get intimidated by some of the other bloggers on here.

I'm a 'Major Geek' according to the geek test at www.innergeek.us

I smoked Marlboro Milds up until recently, when I quit...but I'm thinking about starting again.

I liked smoking.

I'm not the world's greatest housekeeper...but I try.

I'm not the world's best parent...but I try.

I have (IMO) the best mother-in-law in the world.....love ya, Cindy!

I was adopted as an infant. The only thing I know about my heritage is that my Mum had fair hair and blue eyes.

I think I may be Sir Peter Maxwell's illegitimate love-child and intend to write him a letter and introduce myself as such.

That's all I'm going to give away for now...but there's plenty more where that came from. Feel free to ask questions...

You seem interesting.

I am only a Geek from the test. It made me sad, because I thought I was more of a geek than I really am.

Your a cop? That is so cool. Can you give me a hint? If I was driving 5 over, would you stop me? What about 6?

tarsier: no, I worked sec. enforcement, but we had some of the powers sworn officers had.

I apprehended people, worked patrol, interviewed and took statements, searched buildings, carried a gun, worked with the local PD etc etc.

As far as your question about speeding: it all depends on the oficer involved, the time of day, location, your driving skills at the time, etc, etc. There's a lot of variables. However, every officer I've ever worked and ridden with has generally given people a 9mph leeway. Now, you can't come back and blame me for your ticket that you got for doing 4 mph over in the snow when you were drunk....

I rated SuperGeek, I absolutely love Harry Connick Jr., I don't like brussel sprouts OR lima beans, but eat broccoli almost every single day. I am aiming to be triligual... I've got English covered, but am studying both French and Ojicree. I smoke in varying degrees of addiction... at my best 1-2 a day, at my worst (and while enjoying pint after pint at my favorite pub) almost a pack in an evening, depending on how long I've been there. I've got a fabulous smile and an easygoing nature but I'm just one of the guys... which is cool with me. For now. I've got jet-black hair and dark eyes and tan wonderfully in the summer. (First day out, in fact.) Ummm... I try to be a good mother and housekeeper, but sometimes I feel like I've got it all, and on other days, I feel like the walls are coming down around me. I was adopted too, but found my birthmother and a whole slew of relatives that I still keep in contact with.

Questions for you: how often are you a girlie-girl? If you could excell in one area (ie: math, computers, writing, art, etc.) what would it be? What would you spend the rent check on besides rent if you could? Are you good at being lazy or go crazy when you've got time on your hands? Do you type fast? Is this what you thought being grown-up would be like?

Ok...

I'm a girlie girl rarely. I like to blend being a semi-girlie girl (wearing make up, dressing up) with being one of the dudes. I have more guy friends than I do girl friends, and I don't know why.
If I could excell at one area it would be writing. I speak English, French, and a little German...
If I could spend the rent on something other than rent it would have to be clothes and shoes. I don't know why, I have too many already, but that's the girlie girl in me, I guess.
I got nuts when there's nothing to do. I knit, it keeps my hands ocupied and gives me the illusion of keeping busy.
I type reasonably fast, but sometimes badly because my head gets too far in front of my fingers.
No, this is NOT what I thought being grown up would be like, not at all. I thought I was going to be a doctor, stay single until I was 35, have many wonderful passionate love affairs with other handsome doctors and live in France.

I too tan wonderfully in the summer.

I tried to have acrylic nails at one point and couldn't function with them.

I like fried liver with onions and gravy.
