Wanna see the REAL Gotti?

I've been watching 'Growing Up Gotti' on A&E.

Victoria and her moron kids really nauseate me sometimes. She acts like she's queen of the world, and her kids are nothing better than knuckle dragging neaderthals who have difficulty enunciating.

To hear Victoria talk, you'd think that her father was a kind and gentle man who was proud of her and proud of his grandchildren. According to her, she was the apple of his eye, as was her mother.

That link will take you to some surveillance tapes from the penetentiary where John Gott Sr spent the last of his days. It's visiting day. Victoria and her son John are there, as is Gotti's brother, Peter.

Gotti Sr is pretty frank about his feelings, at one point he even dis-owns them for not sending him a Christmas photo of themselves. He's highly critical of Victoria....at one point he tells her that she should stay off TV and book covers, and that she should take her husband's last name and live quietly.

Ha! She didn't take dear ol' dad's advice, it seems. She's turned herself into a publicity whore and wanna-be celeb. The only reason she's got anywhere in life is because of her last name.

Don't believe all the sunshiney hype she tries to feed America about her dad and her relationship with him.

According to the tape, that's not how it was.

Not at all.

She's just some old hag who, now her father's dead and can't complain is exploiting her heritage for every cent she can get.

What makes me sick is how wealthy they are. IMHO, her abilty to pander her criminal name should also make her a target to make restitution to the families of the people harmed by acts that made that name infamous. The fact is, if it weren't for criminal acts, she wouldn't have the money, so the money is the product of those criminal acts.

If people should learn anything from the filth, it is that when we buy lurid, tell-all stories about scum like the Gotti family, we are actually making people who pander that kind of stuff rich. Why should they make a career pawning off stories of things they shouldn't have done in the first place?

They're scum, and the fact they are on TV shows how destitute the US is in terms of self-respect and intelligence these days.

If it could be proved, it would be confiscated. As much as I dislike her father and his ilk, I cannot take from her what is hers without proof.

Her ex is currently seving a 9 year sentence for racketeering....and i know it's not proof, but were it not for her dad being a mobster she wouldn't be a blip on anyone's radar.

I don't think doc understood what I said, frankly. She makes bank on who she was related to, which would be worthless if he wasn't a mob boss. She's profiting from criminal activities. Otherwise, they'd just be a small, obnoxious family of shitheads no one would be interested in.

I don't make a point if watching it. I was watching something else on A&E, got busy in the kitchen and when I came back, it was on. So, I stood there for a few minutes, transfixed at the sheer ignorance and egotism of these morons on the screen.

Her boys need to have some elocution lessons. She needs to dress and act her age and quit making like she's a damn novelist. The only reason they got ANY notoriety or fame is because of who her dad was and what he did. That's all. In fact, if you go watch the tapes on the link, you'll see her dad advising her to drop the Gotti last name and go with Agnello so the kids don't run into so many issues at school.

After seeing her boys behave the way they do, and after seeing her dad go off on little John - I think it's safe to say that were he alive today those boys wouldn't be acting the way they are. John Sr wouldn't have stood for their BS, he's have arranged for them to have the ass kicking of their lives until they straightened up.
