You have to drop n drag that state that you're given and put it in it's right location on the map.

The best I got was 92% correct...and was off by less than a hundred miles.

Not bad for a Limey!

92% correct, 14 miles avg error distance, 356 seconds. Might've done it faster, but my arthritis is messing w/ my hands and I'm 3/4 of the way asleep.

Oh, well. Time to stumble to bed... after I send this link to my wife so that she and my kids can practice w/ it... It'll make a nifty little tool for the homeschool kids. Or even public school kids to practice.

It all depends on what order they appear in. The ones on the interior are harder, 'cause I always locate them in relation to fixed states (TX, TN, MN, WI, etc)

96% 4 miles off.

I think I would have gotten 100% but how do you place Colorado first with 100% accuracy? ;~D

Thanks Dharma, that was a lot of fun!!! What was wierd though, when I was younger, I had a wooden puzzle of the U.S. The wood had a very distict smell that I always liked. While I was putting the states in their places, that smell hit my nose almost as clearly as if I had that puzzle in front of me. Thanks for the flash back!

Yea, me too!  But my First was Kansas!  So only 96%.  The other I missed?  Delaware!  I put it too close to the bay!

98%, average error of 1 mile, 314 seconds

(I placed Indiana a couple miles east because I had no point of reference when I placed it).

I didn't take the test, but had to share it right away with the Social Studies teacher in my grade level...excellent way to get kids to practice their geography. Thanks for sharing it.
