Michelle Duggar has given birth to her 16th child.  Link

I first watched a documentary about Jim and Michelle this past spring.  They're a fundamentally Christian couple who are raising their children without any assistance from anyone else.  They even homeschool.

As I watched the show, I was impressed not only with their organizational skills, but their children's attitudes too.  They're all intelligent, polite, well rounded individuals - they've obviously been raised in a household where love is the priority.

Jim Duggar said yesterday that the birth was particularly exciting for them because this is the first girl they've had in 8 years.

Welcome, Johanna Faith Duggar.  You've been born into a heck of a family....the kind of family some kids only dream about.

JFC!

Yeah, that was my first reaction as well.

I have three and I think that's a lot some days...

My daughter is a big Sim's player.  last week she was playing and complaining about "kids" - she had created a family that had 11 kids and they were all runing rampant, clogging up the toilet and wetting their pants and all kinds of stuff.  When I told her about this woman and her 16th baby, she exclaimed "How the heck does she do that??  I can't even cope with 11 Sim's kids!"

I have 4, but 3 bathrooms!  I dont think there is enough bathrooms for 11, much less 16!

I think I've seen their story on television before. Well, best of luck to them...they seem like very decent people.

btw, my mother comes from a clan of 12...don't know how my gradmother did it. lol

They've got a roster for who does what when.

Their new home (that they built themselves and should be ready by Christmas) has 9 bathrooms in it.
That's a lot of toilets to clean.

My dad is one of 6. My granny had a loud voice and a heavy hand, and she didn't sweat the small stuff.
