I found this site earlier today, and I'm enamoured.

www.postsecret.com

The idea is that you can make yourself a postcard with a secret of yours written on it, and you mail it to the person who owns the site.  S/he then scans it and posts it on his site (Sundays are update days).  It's totally anonymous; no-one need ever know that it came from you.

The postcards on there today range from hilarious ("I use my room-mate's hair clips as nipple clamps") to sad (a picture of brusied legs with "my father beat me but he called it spanking" written over it) to heartbreakingly poignant ("When you left me I stole your orange shirt - a small price to pay for my heart").

I feel slightly dirty after reading through them, like I've been some kind of voyeur sneaking peeks into people's private lives - and in a way, I have been.  I think that this site could be a 'must read' on Sunday afternoons.

I'm going to send in a secret.

Nope.  You'll just have to watch to see if you can figure out which one is mine (if it gets posted, that is)
