I found out yesterday that my mother in law will be having a hysterectomy next Thursday, and I'd like to ask y'all to pray for her.

Despite our recent difficulties, Cindy is a great mother in law.  She's been having some problems of late, and her doctor decided that the best way to fix her is to perform a hysterectomy.  I keep telling her that she's going to feel so much better afterwards and that it's one of the best things I ever did, but she's still pretty stressed about it (which is totally normal)

I'd like to go and help her out after the surgeyr, but I can't drive...and D's got things scheduled at work every day nest week (even over the weekend) so we won't be able to go visit her.

So, JU, if you could please pray to whatever deity it is that you worship I'd be incredibly grateful...and if you're not a praying person, can you please send her some positive thoughts and energy?  I'll pass on all of your messages to her.

Thanks, JU...you really are a fantastic bunch of folks!

Vibes on the way.  She is lucky to have you as her daughter in law.

Thank you, and I doubt that she'd agree with you.....but thanks for saying so anyway!

my mom-in-law had one just 4 weeks ago...she recovered very well and is feeling great...I can't give you "prayers" or "vibes," but perhaps some good news from a similiar situation and some best wishes will suffice.

I hope everything goes well for her with and after the surgery. I'll say a prayer for her and hope for her speedy recovery!

I was wondering how that went. I'm really glad to hear that she's doing well...

That will be more than sufficient...thank you!

Thanks! I'll pass it on.

prayers on the way D,

Thank you, Elie.

My wife had this same procedure about three years ago and it is some what of an ordeal. Even thought they took the cradle, at least they left the play pen...

I had it done back in '97.  Like I told my husband...we changed the nursery into a playroom.

Father God,

I come before You today and thank You for the privilege of lifting Cindy up to You. I know that it's through the sacrifice of Your Son that I am granted access to Your throneroom.

I ask You to give Cindy peace about this procedure, Lord. Fill her with Your peace that passes all understanding... whisper soothing words of comfort in her ear and wrap her in Your arms of love while she goes through this. I ask that You give the doctors wisdom and discernment that can only come from You. Guide both their minds and their hands as they operate on Cindy. Ease any pain that she might feel as a result of this surgery and help her to be well in no time. K and D would like to be there with her, but since they aren't able to be, I ask that You would send just the right people to Cindy's side to support her during this time. Give K and D assurance that Cindy will be just fine... and grant them peace and freedom from anxiousness and worry while they wait to hear news of her recovery.

Hold this entire family in Your care, Father. Thank You for the love they have for each other... In Jesus' name, I pray... Amen.
