Hehehe...I'm grinning from ear to ear right now.

I got my husband a gift.  Something that he's been looking at for ages.

I got him a Pentax Optio 50 digital camera.  It has 5.0 megapixels and 3X optical zoom...a 1.8" LCD display and it has Pictbridge capability so that he can get a photo printer and hook it directly to that.

I happened to be walking by the digital camera display and saw that it was on sale....the list price for it is close to $300, but I got it for $189.

I'm so stoked.  I keep imagining the look that will be on his face when he sees what I got him.  He's such a good dude; he totally deserves to get what he wants once in a while instead of making do with whatever's cheapest.

I love feeling like this....knowing that I've done somehting for him that will make him smile and that will please him.

This is the best feeling.  I wish I could bottle it!

I'm so glad that you think that....I was worried that what I had got him might not be 'all that'.  I thought it was good, but....it's reassuring to have someone more knowledgeable than I say that it's a sweet deal too.

I'm so excited...I don't think I'm going to be able to keep it a secret from him!

Cnet gave it a good, the users gave it a very good. Plus its Pentax. And $189 is a good deal.

I saw the reviews after I had bought it....I'm impressed too!  Oh, and I told him what you said about him being a lucky man....he said to tell you thanks, and yes, he is lucky!

No surprise...he already knows.  I'm horrible at lying to him, and he's good at interrogations....so he found out.  He's very happy about it, though.  I can't wait to have him come home and try it out!
