I found this really cool game to play online - and it's free!

Link

It's called 'Guess-The-Google'.  What you have to do it guess what word generated the Google images you're shown.  You have 20 seconds to guess, and you get points for the numbers of seconds you have remaining...making it beneficial to guess once and to guess quickly.

It's actually quite addicting.  I spent the better part of an hour playing before I could break myself away to come and tell y'all about it.

Thus far my high score is 321.  Not quite enough to put me onto the high score board, but almost.

Go try it!  Than tell me what you think...

addictive...yes! I got 287 the first time I tried. I missed three in a row and was getting frustrated....but then I started to get my brain to work~

ps It helps if you can type correctly and fast! (I can't.)

Heh, I created a thread about this a few months ago.

If you have something bogging down your CPU, you don't have to be particularly fast, nor even particularly accurate. I've managed to get in eight guesses without using up any seconds.

You just start typing, and when the CPU finally gets around to the game, all those guesses hit immediately, taking no time off the clock (or one second at most). The game isn't smart enough to track real time, but only the time it's actually used up CPU cycles.

That's no doubt how people get perfect or near-perfect scores.

I got into the top 10, but it took me 5 tries.

And I've probably been knocked off by now.
