I wandered down to my friend Kim's house earlier, like I usually do in the early evenings.

As I walked up the driveway, my daughter came up to me and said "nothing's going on"....

.....ooook. That told me that SOMETHING was going down.

Kim came out a few moments later and invited me in for coffee....

....she had got me a big birthday cake, bless her little heart...

Here I am with all three of my babies (like my sunburned nose?!):

I was taken completely by surprise by all of it, but it was a really, really nice thing to do...so thanks, Kim, you rawk!  (You too Kerry; I know you read my blog...)

Awwwww...how sweet! It's so nice knowing that other people care enough about you to do something as simple as a cake for your birthday...

They sound like sweet neighbors. I would have never guessed you were turning 36. You look like shea's older sister rather than her mom! hehe. All of your kids are too cute!
