I learned that laying next to the pool on a breezy but sunny day will result in you getting a little fried unless you liberally apply suncreen every 15 mins.

I, as you can see, either did not apply my SPF 15 often enough of liberally enough, because I got a little red.  It's not all sunburn, I had some tan lines there already from swimming and laying out with the kids at the pool...but it is looking a bit pink.

Oh well...by tomorrow the red will have calmed down and I can go back to working on some more tan lines for my husband to discover when he comes home....

Heheh....I was going to post a pic of the tan line I have on my hip but decided I wasn't brave enough!

Thanks for the whistle, I think!

That's what you get!

Being extremely fair skinned (at school, kids called me albino) I know what it's like getting massive burns and extreme tan lines.

Fun stuff, isn't it?

Peace,

geez, that's really a tan line!
I miss those good old days of getting as bronze as possible. Now it would turn me into an alligator look!! I"m too old for it.
Tans look real good with lots of summer colors too, along with white or black clothing, or.....
my first hubby and I used to compare our tans, those were the days.......oh ya.

Especially for you, Helix....

This is a slightly less fuzzy version...you can actually see where the ties at the sides of my bikini bottoms were on this one:

What are a few cellulite dimples and a flash of a lily white hip between friends, huh?  No big deal...not to me, anwyay...

Beebles: I'm not fair skinned, I tan really well...I just pink up a little on the first few days of sun exposure.

Trudy:  I would LOVE to hang out at the pool with you sometime...and you're NEVER too old to look good with a little bit of a tan!  I'm starting to get really quite fond of you...you've lived a hell of a life thus far and have a really good heart, from what i can see.

Shovel: My nose is pretty pink too, but nowhere near as bad as yours was!

Glad you liked the pics...there will be more tomorrow, we're going back to the pool again.  I got a family pass and I'm trying not only to get my money's worth but to build up a decent tan before I have to get cut open!

Wow, nice lines. I bet D is going to love discovering where they all join up

I wish I could tan but I just burn and peel, which is not a pretty sight. My wife, lucky person she is, was born with a natural tan so looks good in a bathing suit even in the middle of winter, grrr...

Cheers,

Maso

I have the same thing going on from my two days at the beach...I usually tan, but geez...my back looks like a lobster. My arms have finally turned tan...let's hope the rest catches up soon!

I would consider D a "lucky" man! Getting to play around with the join up lines

My daughter is the same way. Her hair gets blonder and her skin gets really, really dark...she doesn't burn at all.

Yeah, mine looked like that last week! It'll turn a nice brown color in a couple of days though...

Aww...I'll tell him that!!

Dharma: As usual I'm late getting back to someone!
Thanks for the kind words I'd love to hang out with you too! and yes, have had a rather bumpy ride for many years......
and a little bit of a tan WOULD sure be good now! I'm too pale.
It would be so awesome if JU could have a picnic somewhere, kinda like a family reunion, only without the "pain
in the neck" relatives!!
