the life of an air force wife

welcome to my mundane blog!i decided out of boredom more than anything to set up my own site to record how/what i'm feeling. i'm in my mid 30's, married for 10 years, have 3 kids, 3 cats, live on a military base...don't work (had a vehicle accident last year that i'm still trying to recover from)..and i feel like i'm starved of intelligent conversation and company. my husband is gone overseas for a year - we're halfway through; he was home last month for some much needed TLC and R&R, but he left again last week and i won't see him for another 6 months. Right now that seems like a hell of a long time. i don't think i fit in around here; i'm not into debating the price of pork chops at the grocery store and could care less about soap operas, i don't wear my hair long and poodle-permed, i'm not a member of the PTA (although i've thought about joining to shake them up a bit) and i'm not christian so i don't get to hang with the jesus crowd/god squad. lonliness is me for now it seems.......so join me in my misery and read my daily dalliances!!

Hey Dharmagrl- I'd love to talk to you sometime about life as an airforce wife. I'm thinking about joining the Air Force, but I'm definitely concerned about what it does to the family life.
