D got to his location okay.  He's all settled in to his tent, and he's started work already.

I'm thankful that he got there okay, but the country he's in is starting to get suicide bomb attacks now.  That worries me a bit....

...but he's there, and now we can start the countdown until he comes home.

How long is the countdown? I can't even imagine what you are going through. So sorry you are going through kidney hell on your own.

Oh, Shovel...thank you.  You made me get all teary eyed....

How long is the countdown?

At least 6 months.  It shouldn't be too much longer than that...I hope it's not much longer than that.

Where do you want me to start? hehe....

He's a cop. He also is detective certified and a corrections NCOIC. Cops in the AF are responsible for air base ground defense, they're the AF equivalent of infantry. They're also responsible for law enforcement, physical and flightline security, and resource protection.
