I got a Brew Station coffee maker earlier this week.

It doesn't have a carafe, there's a button that you rest your cup up against and it dispenses the coffee out of a vat-type arrangement in the machine itself:

I like it.  I like it a lot.  I've had some awesomely good tasting cups of coffee since I got it.  It's easy to clean, easy to use, and I haven't noticed any 'burnt' flavor like I did with my old pot (especially if I was making a half carafe, the scorched flavor was very distinct.)

I also found some organic whole coffee beans on sale at the store this afternoon, so tomorrow morning I'm getting up early to fire up my trusty grinder and treat myself to coffee and alone time with my husband.

I'm a brewin' fool, I tell ya!

How much does it hold in its reservoir? And how much does it cost? I like to have at least a good full pot on lazy mornings at home...

Sounds a lot better than the SCIF's 50 cup "burnt tuna" flavored coffee maker!

How much does it hold in its reservoir?

It hols 12 cups, as much as a full-size regular pot will.

And how much does it cost?

I got mine at the BX for $39.  I've seen them at Wal-Mart for about the same price.  It's well worth it...

We have one of those in my office as well.  Sometimes the coffee is so stout that it's virtually undrinkable...and then someone complains and we have java that's so weak it looks like a single solitary bean was dragged through a gallon of water on a bit of string.  I'm going to start taking a big ol' cup from home to work with me....

BTW, Greywar, d'you need anything?  Does anyone you're over there with need anything?  I'll be more than happy to send you a care package....I'm going to be shipping them out regularly as of next week anyway....
