There was a improptu backyard football game at my house this afternoon.

Watching my boys and my husband play, I was reminded of how incredibly fortunate I am.  Fortunate to be married to an awesome guy, and even more fortunate to have such wonderful kids to raise.....

Just sitting at the window, watching my boys play....good times.  Really good times.

I'm glad you got a grin out of it, Dyl.  I am proud...very proud.

Heck yes I'm glad to have him back!  It sucked being without him for so long...and yes, he's an awesome dad.  Tough, and waaaay more of a disciplinarian than I am...but we balance each other out pretty well.   I bring my touchy feely talk-it-out style of parenting to the table, he brings his go-to-your-room d'ya want a whuppin' style and we manage to do a half assed job raising kids between the two of us!

They came in all sweaty and grass-stained...but happy.  And I was happy too.

That seems to be our form of parenting too.  Love the pictures!

It's also mine, I'm Hitler and she's Mother Teresa. You ever think of letting your boys go pro, the Dolphins could really use them. Great family, though

That seems to be a lot of people's style.....thanks!

Adrian....that's about us as well.  D is soo much harder on them than I am, and I had a heck of a time when he was gone because I had to toughen up and be strict.

Dolphins???  Dolphins??!!!  No way!  Jake wants to play for Oregon's Ducks.  He hasn't got as far as pro-ball yet!

Holy cats!! is it that soon!?  will you post pictures of the happy event?!  Please???

Awesome! It's got to be great for your sons that he's back now.

Chip, they missed their dad so terribly......i was a decent enough stand in, but being injured meant that I was not-so-good at some 'boy' stuff...like football and wrestling and all that stuff.  Seeing them interact with him like that....it about makes me cry with happiness.

How wonderful to see such a happy family!

Thank you!  Yours should be back together again soon, shouldn't it?  How long now?
