Blah, blah and double blah.  That's how I feel today.

I have a snotty nose, clogged up sinuses, a headache, all my teeth hurt, my nose is raw from wiping, my joints hurt and all I want to do is lay around whining and feeling sorry for myself in general.

I hate being sick.  It would help if I could sleep, but I can't...all I do is lay there, coughing and sniffling and generally feeling rotten.

Ok, I'm done whining now.

If a shot of Nyquil doesn't help you get some sleep, try two shots of Jack Daniels! It's never failed me...

I try not to take any meds, I prefer to let things run their course.....I am giving in and taking some sudafed and benadryl this afternoon, though.  I'm done feeling crappy.

Hmm....benadryl and JD...sounds like a sleep inducing combination to me!

You're not the only one. I'm all doped up on sudifed, and feel the same way you do. Try going to school with this

Hope you feel better soon!

Sarah and WF - thanks!  I took some sudafed, and it hasn't helped much yet....I'm going to take a hot bath and try some steam therapy in a little while.

Thanks for the comments!

You are getting sleepy.......very sleeepy........muhahahaha......you will awake at my command, feeling perfectly relaxed and refreshed......but sadly with the cold still, I can't do anything about that.......one sick day gone asleep anyways......

Bummer, being sick is the worst! I hope you are feeling better very soon.

wishing you well. I recommend the Nyquil though.... it may not make you feel better when you wake up, but it will sure put you to sleep in a hurry!

Thanks everyone, for the comments and the good wishes.  it's moved south and has settled on my chest now.  I'm wheezing and coughing...not moving much, but I can feel it rattling around in there.  Time for some robitussin......I have an albuterol inhaler as well, I think I'm going to bust that out and see if that doesn't help.
