Peoploe who clog up the aisles at the grocery store. I just got back from there, and I swear the same rules ought to apply there that apply on the road. Keep to the right, wait your turn, don't pull out to pass a stopped cart unless there's nothing coming in the other direction...even turn signals would be a good idea. And brake lights. And fines for flagrant voilators of the rules. Ooh, we could have a whole new section of law enforcement - aisle police. We could even have people stationed at the ends of the aisles directing traffic at particularly busy times.
People who don't wait their turn at 4-way stop signs. What makes them think that they can just roll through when 2 other people have done the right thing and stopped and waited their turn???
People who stand in line for 10 mins at McDonalds (or wherever), perusing the menu the whole time, then when they get to the counter take another 5 mins to decide what the heck they want to eat - leaving the other 20 people behind them in a very frustrated and pissed off state of mind altogether! That's just rude, as far as I'm concerned.
The 'one person, one job' philosophy the military seems to have implemented recently. We had to go do some paperwork last week, and got stymied a few times because the person we needed to speak to was on leave all week. We needed to get business taken care of then, that's why we were there, not whenever the person comes back. When we asked if there was anyone else who could help, we got looked at like our hair was on fire. It just pisses me off that we're supposed to wait, delay our plans and needs, in order to fit in with someone else's leave schedule.
People who are deliberately offensive or inflammatory, then, when someone complains, say "I was only joking...god, you have no sense of humor". Look a-hole, you were the one who kicked it off with your incredibly poor taste and your feeble attempt at 'humor' - don't shove it back on anyone else. Accept that what you said was wrong, apologize (WITHOUT saying 'but you did deserve it'), move on, and don't do it again. That last statement can also apply to the fake apologizers.
Ok, I think I am satiated for this evening.....but there will be more. There's always more......
