As many of you already know, JustJohn and his wife becames parents to triplets recently - two girls, Tabitha and Chloe, and a boy, Parrish.  They came a little early, but that's normal for triplets. I knitted them some preemie sized beanies and marvelled at how small they were - they fit on some apples I had in the fruit dish - and I sent them off, worrying that they'd be too small.

I got an email from JJ yesterday, and attached to it was this photo:

Aren't those the most darling little babies?  And, the beanies that I thought might be too small are actually too big!

JJ, you and your wife made some gorgeous children!

He tried to post it, but it did not work.  Yes, they are precious, and the beenies are so beautiful as well!  Well done Dharma.

they are precious

Aren't they?! I told JJ last night that it amazes me that a fully functioning human being can fit in a package as small as those babies!

It's just boggles the mind how tiny they are!  So precious,  sweet babies

Those beanies are just cute as can be!

I held a premie once,  weighted about a pound and a half,  held the baby in one hand....I was so overwhelmed at the delicacy and how perfect it was.

Well this was a good way to start the day Dharma    THis is what's really important in life.

Their cuteness went up by a factor of 10 when they put them a crib together.

I was so overwhelmed at the delicacy

I am very comfortable around babies. I have never been afraid of them. I have to admit I am nervous when handling my little ones. They are so tiny I worry that I might squish them. I always try to hold them with two hand even though one is more than enough.

I love the beanies and I will bring them to the hospital for them to wear while we are there but I always bring them home because I don't want them to get lost.

These are my favorite of all their hats. I think they look so cute in them.

I must admit they're pretty cute...until they grow up and start talking back.

They certainly are cute. And the hats do add to their cute factor!

Good luck for the first year or two John. When they get older they will help occupy each other and make life a bit easier.

I agree, and thank you!

I know!  I'm just amazed at how little and how cute they all are!

Well this was a good way to start the day Dharma

That's what I thought too, and you're right: this IS what life is all about.

Their cuteness went up by a factor of 10 when they put them a crib together

As I'm sure you already know, co-bedding actually helps multiples grow stronger and heal faster.  They've been together for 9 months in utero, so it's quite a shock for them to be separated.  Putting them close to each other again is reassuring to them and they're less stressed. And yes, it does enhance the cuteness factor!

I love the beanies and I will bring them to the hospital for them to wear while we are there but I always bring them home because I don't want them to get lost.

Aww, thank you!  That's a very sweet thing to say!  I'm really glad that you like them....and I'm going to work on some bigger ones for them to wear when they outgrow these ones.  I think that these kids might have hats for the rest of their lives, actually; I really enjoy making them!

ahhhhh mush!

Yeah, ok, they're cute.

See, even big tough Mason thinks they're cute!  Seeing a big gruff tough man oooh and aaah over babies is a real delight for me...dunno why, but it is!

Yes.

Good answer!

I must admit they're pretty cute...until they grow up and start talking back

Nah, that's cute too!  I think that kids have a different kind of cuteness to them not matter what age they are.  There's always something they do or say that's cute.

They certainly are cute. And the hats do add to their cute factor!

Thank you!

I know!  Parrish has his sisters back, and Chloe and Tabitha have their bro with them again.  Life is good!
