One of St Clair County's newly appointed Circuit Court Judges was busted for DUI on Sunday afternoon....and sitting beside him in the passenger seat with an open can of beer in his lap was none other than the County Chief Justice!

Patrick Young and Jan V Fiss were coming back from a St Louis Ram's ball game when they got into an accident with another vehicle.  When the police got there, they found Harris to have 'a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath' and to be walking unsteadily.  When asked to provide a sample for the breathalyzer he refused.  His companion was seen to take an open can of Bud Light from the passenger side of the wrecked vehicle and pour it on the ground - and then, in the grand-daddy of deceptive moves, he tried to hide the can in his coat.

The local police and the district attorney's office say they will prosecute this case the same way they'd prosecute any other DUI. 

I just don't think either of these hypocrites will be on the bench for their own trials.
