...and you've sent Bucky home.

I don't know how or why Bucky managed to stay in the 'Idol' competition for so long, but tonight either America came to it's sense or someone sorted a phone bank snafu out, because Buky got sent home.

I think he was expecting it. He MUST have been expecting it. How could be NOT have? Anyone could see that he was up against some VERY good singers and that his whiny country growl simply wasn't up to par.

I'm sure he's a very nice person, and I'm sure that he'll be riding the wave that 'Idol' set him on for some time. I wish him luck in whatever he decides to attempt.

Bye, Bucky. It's been fun, but your luck simply ran out.

Yay! I am so relieved. I missed the show but kept hearing people on the radio suggest it was going to by Taylor. Glad it wasn't!

Bucky shouldn't have been sent home on a week when he was one of the better performers. I think that the biggest outrage now is that Ace is hanging on.

Ace shoulda been sent home this week, and Bucky next week ( I really can't imagine Bucky doin' Rod..then again he could've done a decent "Blue Skies" ala Willy Nelson)

Should Mandisa have been sent home last week? Or any of the other contestants who were better than Bucky? No. Bucky should have gone home a LONG time ago. The REAL outrage is that he lasted as long as he did.

Ace should be next to go. Elliot is MUCH better than Ace...as is Taylor.

Bucky's been on borrowed time for weeks; he's been lucky to hang on for as long as he has. Ace's time is almost up too.

I predict a Kellie and Chris final. Kellie will make it that far because America will fall for her poor little deprived country girl/dumb blonde act and Chris will make it because....well, because he can sing. I do wish he'd slow his vibrato down a notch, though.
