Kraft Foods has stopped manufacturing it's gummi 'Road Kill' candy because it might 'encourage children to be cruel to animals'. Link

Oh please.  If eating candy shaped like flattened possums, skunks and rabbits is going to encourage kids to be cruel to critters, then what kind of behaviour does eating gummi worms encourage?  Worm-icide?  How about Swedish Fish?  Have there been reported incidents of kids teasing or maiming their beta's or goldfish?  In England there's a popular candy called 'Jelly Babies' - gummi little people in different flavors and colors.  To the best of my knowledge, no-one has tried to eat a real baby after eating a gummi one.

Sometimes I think the whole world's gone completely mad....

So, what will be next on the list? No more jelly snakes or gummi frogs? Or how about no more Rice Bubbles because Snap, Crackle and Pop could be misconstrued as a promiscuous gay elves?

Shhh! Don't give them any ideas.

Funny!!!

But I must agree that this could easily translate to eating dead critters on the road or even making your own.

No, animal crackers do not qualify. Now if this was Weed Candy or Suger Sniffers...
