After my surgery was over this morning I called the college to see if they had my exam results from yesterday.

I passed.  All three parts.

Now I have to get my high school transcript and two letters of recommendation together and send them in with my official application to the nursing program, wait for them to ask me to come in for an interview, hope that they like me enough to offer me a place and hope that my financial aid paperwork goes through and I can finance what I can't get in grants and/or scholarships.

The surgery this morning went well.  It wasn't pleasant and was downright painful at times, but it was a necessary procedure and it's over and done with now.  I shouldn't have to have it repeated for many years, and I'm ok with that.  And, I might be able to take less medication on a daily basis.

I'm ok with that too.

Congrats on the school news, and best of luck on the pop-op side of the surgery.  Hopefully everything will go well and keep going well for you.

Congratulations, Dharma. I had no doubt you'd do well, though.

I'm glad the procedure went well too. Anything that means you don't have to take as much medication is a good thing, in my books.

Right back at ya, and thanks!

There are even a number of hospitals that are sponsoring nursing students through with an agreement they'll come work for them.

I'm going to give the 2 local hospital's HR offices a call this week and see if they have anything like that to offer.  If they do....well, that'd be awesome.  One less thing to worry about!

How's your husband doing?

Hopefully everything will go well and keep going well for you.

Today has been ok.  I'm a little sore and bruised, but I made it through clinicals and even did the majority of the work - we had to give one of the paraplegic patients a shower.  It was an interesting experience to say the least, and the patient we were assigned to was very patient with us, thank goodness.

Congratulations

Thank you!
